  2. Yay! I’m so glad you got it. It was my girlfriend, Morgan Stanfield who did the calligraphy, my handwriting is…less nice! I’m sorry Cheryl and I didn’t get to give this to you in person at Sunstone- but it looks like I’ll get to meet Jana at the Mormon Women’s Forum- hooray!

    The title was originally “Dear John,” which was a play on words most Mormons will instantly recognize.

    I had to hide my blog for a while due to family/Bishop concerns, so I’m glad you posted this and the poem is out there somewhere.

    That’s very sad. I used to read your blog regularly even if I didn’t respond. It’s where I first read your beautiful poem and learned about John and his situation.
