NW, it seems that you're trying to communicate that you're offended by this video. xJane has proven her thoughtfulness and ability to reason repeatedly on this blog, so calling her "stupid" only makes you appear petulant and does little to support your comment.

Calling this satirical song "pathetic" does little to address its criticism of a powerful cultural current in the US that equates patriotic consumerism with Christianity. Is this critique valid? Why or why not?

I normally don't allow abusive ad hominem attacks through, but I'll let this one pass since it defeats itself through irony and it's an illustration of how to leave a trollish comment. I'm proud of most of you MoF discussants for critiquing each other civilly, and targeting arguments rather than people you know nothing about.

Shame... You are a lot of stupid and smallminded " kids, people." A kind compliment.

What a pathetic song they wrote!

Hope you grow up sooner, than later...

ahahaha! awesomeness. This reminds me of the classic line from Head of State: "God bless America and no place else!" The new genre of country music that can be exemplified by the above really pisses me off. Although, given the whole cross thing, wouldn't Jesus drive a Chevy...?
