I think this is especially poignant in light of Obama's proximity to the presidency and of the Dalai Lama's threats to his people, some of whom have grown weary of the path of nonviolence. I don't think I've ever watched the entire speech before---the cadence of his voice is still so powerful, it makes me want to stand up & shout. yes, John, thank you!
