Very interesting story telling. There’s an arc. There’s an early head-fake. There’s conflict. Cool.

At first I thought it was funny - smirking at the over-involved Mother. Turned out to be a pretty sad story… Is it about Alzheimer’s?

I think we’re seeing the future of film. Why would I go to the theater? Seriously, fuck TV. It’s beautiful story which uses the medium to its best effect. “Turn off you computers and read a book” … yes, but no.

Compelling. I’d say that girl has a future in acting and the director…definitely a future for him. The timing, the music, it all worked well.
Sidenote: When she said, “My name is Lisa.” My first thought was that 70s country song “I’m not Lisa” by Eriko Jo. (I’m guessing no one else here remembers it. )

Correction, Erika Jo did a recent cover. Jessi Colter recorded it orginally.

Well, to answer Kevin’s question, I don’t know if the video is “about” Alzheimer’s (or dementia in general), but it certainly seems to show the progression of those sorts of problems realistically and well. Maybe too well. I’m sitting here with tears in my eyes because it is so similar to my experience with my mother, who has dementia.

CatGirl and I began watching this thinking it would be something cutesy and both were on the verge of bawling towards the end.

heh, I thought her mom was like that ’cause she watched too much TV: “I’ve been inspired by my mom to tell you…”
