NPR reported today that insurers are trying to take climate change into account as they make risk calculations.

This is close to my heart because I really think that an economic accounting of natural resources and forces are necessary to facilitate an understanding to those who seem to to be able to understand the gravity of our current situation. Putting a dollar amount on a park based upon the ensuing health and well-being of the people who see & use it as well as the contributions to air-quality need to be placed next to the proposed dollar amount of the apartment complex that may replace it.
