One of my favorite Stephen Colbert videos just resurfaced; watch it now, before it disappears again!
While we’re at it, here are links to two other favorites:
Watch this one through to the end–it’s the only time I’ve both Colbert and Jon Stewart lose composure. Warning: lots of male anatomy and gay sex innuendo (but nothing explicit).
Colbert grills Representative Westmoreland on the Ten Commandments. (the good part’s about two-thirds of the way in–you should skip straight to it)

I am so way into liturgical dance when someone else is doing it (read: when I can watch them and giggle….)

meh on the liturgical dance, but I guess I’m not too familiar with the debate (read: I’ve never participated in it enough to have developed an opinion one way or the other on it. There’s a lot of crazy going on anyway in the midst of a religious service…). But watching two professional comedians trip up and laugh at their own jokes was awesome & when I got to “well, there’s one other do-nothing-er…I don’t know who that is, uh, but they’re a democrat. So there’s one democrat do-nothing-er and…”. Well, let’s just say I don’t often laugh out loud either by myself or at Colbert…but that was fantastic!

The one about the gay sex scandal in England was quite possibly the funniest thing I’ve seen in a long time.
