Yesterday we had a rare Real Life meeting of the Mind on Fire bloggers. It was as real as only an anime convention can get. I hope Miko will forgive me posting this photo of us. Mind on Fire community, meet your hosts.

meh. We had problems uploading photos until “Sunday, July 1st, 2007 at 8:25 am”. Coincidence? I think not.

I went as Fuu from Samurai Champloo. She’s very cutesy (hence pink & the peace/victory sign). It was difficult for me to be in character :-p Also, the costume required dainty steps. By midday, I was doing the dainty shuffle at quite a clip, but now my thighs hurt! (We won’t get into the aftermath of Japanese-corset-wearing.)

It’s good to have a face to put with your name now, Miko. :) And, of course, it’s nice to see your smiling face as well, John. Looks like a good time was had by all.
