I’m moving Mind on Fire to a new hosting service over the next few days. There will probably be some downtime when I point the domain to the new server. Also, any comments submitted during this time may not get moved to the new server. I’ll let you all know when the process is complete. I hope you’ll be patient with me–I’m certain to hit a few snags as I make the transition.

My current hosting service charges way too much for too little. It was a good bargain when I signed up for it a few years ago, but the competition has improved while my service and its charges have remained stagnant. I’m looking forward to the new service–it specializes in Ruby on Rails, so I’m looking forward to adding cool features to the MoF experience as I cut my teeth on this new technology.

Most important, Jana and I will be able to start the podcast up again, since we’ll have room to store all of those big mp3 files.
