Starbucks has a flash game called Planet Green. It’s part of their Earth Month thing. You drive, walk, or bike around the township of Evergreen (which has a Starbucks, of course) improving various things. It’s not a fun game but it’s a fun way of learning easy ways to improve your footprint: at the local level as well as at the personal level. You get points based on how you decide to get around town (there is also public transport) and the things you help the town improve. I encourage people to check it out, not because I think anyone’s going to learn an awful lot, but because I think it’s important that things like this are encouraged and because it’s a really good way of disseminating the information.

Incidentally, I scored “expert” which is not the highest score.
