“Misquoting Jesus” Book Group: Conclusion - Changing Scripture.

Posted by John on February 11th, 2007 at 11:19 am · 1 Comment

Jeff has completed his commentary on the Conclusion of Bart Ehrman’s Misquoting Jesus at his site. In case you missed it, we broke with the order a couple posts back, but each chapter stands on its own and is meaty enough to be handled separately. Also, it’s not a thriller, so there’s no spoilers. (Jesus dies, okay?)

If you haven’t spent time on Jeff’s blog, I highly recommend it. He is an English teacher and a politically liberal Mormon who has embarked on a thoughtful examination of his faith and doubt. I appreciate his contribution to this project, and encourage you all to go there and comment, even if you haven’t made it through the book yet.

John White’s latest installment of his chapter-by-chapter commentary can be found here. You’re an animal, John! (I mean that in the best, scriptural sense).

Remaining chapters:

  • Chap 1: Watt.
  • Chap 2: Miko.
  • Chap 5: Elise.
  • Chap 6: John Remy.
  • Chap 7: john.white.

Reminder: Please email me (fierymind at gmail, etc.) when you complete your post.
