Lamont defeats Lieberman! Makes me dang proud to be a radical liberal anti-war blogger. Unfortunately, Lieberman has vowed to do more damage to the Democratic Party as an independent.

This one’s for Miko: Free Meditation Timer Download for Mac OS X! See, there is Nirvana-esque redemption for the Mac-addict.

Two new blogs I’m reading regularly:

  • the mormon left: carefully considered posts by the Johnny who regularly leaves such thoughtful comments here. He’s also the only Mormon blogger I know who has links to spiritual progressive and liberal Christian sites–an example I’d like to follow soon.
  • Letters from A Broad: “The adventures of a friendly American exmormon atheist mom living Paris France.” I want to be just like C. L. Hanson. Even the mom bit.

And last but most definitely not least is this link to a Guardian article on Male Feminists forwarded by Holly of Self Portrait As.

thank you for the links :) I shall use the meditation timer today! (yay me) And here’s to Lamont! Lieberman may claim that he will inflict “more damage to the Democratic Party as an independent” but I think that most dems need to wake up and realize that their party is falling apart…and vote for people who reflect their values! The two-party system appears to be dying (as “dems” like Lieberman show). This may be just what the party needs to get its footing again.

Thanks for the promo! And go Lamonte! I have thought that Lieberman was a republican in sheeps clothing for a while. I don’t think he will be that successful as an independent, at least I hope.

    cheers!

belated review: love the timer! since I’m always at my computer, it gives me a reminder to at the very least close my eyes for a few mins.
