I just gave mind on fire a new set of insides–it’s now running on WordPress two point something. This is progress, because before it was running on hamsters feasting on my old tea leaves.

Seriously, though, I would never subject hamsters to running a blog or eating soggy bitter greens. And I don’t think I’d subject anyone to the stresses of upgrading a blog. I’ve resisted this one for a year or two now, but I’ve got just enough of a masochistic streak in me to subject myself to this. You’ll probably notice a few visual quirks, and it’ll probably take me the next week or so to iron them all out.

I tell myself, and I tell you, Dear Reader, that upgrading is a Good Thing. Gone is the klugey third party comment-checker. RSS works now, so you can syndicate mindonfire. Pinging should work now, too.
