Pilgrimage Map.

I started working on a Google Map to chart the progress of my pilgrimage. It’s still rough, but it’s cool because you can click/drag it and zoom and see satellite overlays and click on the individual icons to get links to the pilgrimage posts. Eventually I’ll label each of the stations and place a permanent link somewhere on the sidebar to the map. Check it out.

If you are a technogeek like me and want to implement your own customized Google map, the API documentation can be found here.

Tomorrow I will post a description of my adventurous visit with my daughter to the high energy African Methodist Episcopal Church, where we are called before altar and invited to accept Christ as our personal savior. Stay tuned!

Neat! I might have to get my geek on, and try something with the GoogleMaps API, too! :D

    John:

As always, your technical acuity awes me! I love how you are always trying new things and finding new ways to use your techie skills to augment your academic life. :)
Of course, at about 11 last night when you were laying next to me in bed and cursing at your computer screen, I was wondering why you cared so much about this little bit of code. But the final product is oh-so-cool….
