John, how come it took me so long to find you?! (The answer is that it took me this long to sit and do it, I’m ashamed to say!)
Of COURSE you got straight A’s!!! Welcome home, honey!

A’s in what? Your courses? BIG DEAL! Almost ANYONE can go to class regularly, read all the assigned work, and turn in a kick-ass paper at the end of the semester. I mean, I’m happy for you and all, but I can’t get TOO excited about it, since you used course work as an excuse for not blogging…. When are you going to show us you deserve an A in blogging?
Just kidding, of course. As a teacher I know all too well that hardly anyone can do what it takes to earn perfect grades, and while I wish you blogged more, I understand certain other things often take precedent. (But I will remind you, in all seriousness, that you owe ME a paper….)
Congratulations!
